Adult Faith Formation

The formation of one’s faith does not end upon graduation from high school, nor is it contained to only what we hear from the pulpit Sunday mornings. St. Alban’s offers a variety of opportunities for persons of all ages to continue their own journey with God.

Thursday Morning Bible Buddies

Every Thursday morning at 7:30 am, St. Alban’s offers our Thursday Morning Bible Buddies Bible Study where we study the scriptures appointed for the upcoming Sunday. The appointed scriptures come from the Revised Common Lectionary. Bible Buddies meet both in person in our Parish Hall and on Zoom. A link for our Bible Buddies Bible Study is delivered to those interested via email. Please contact Fr. Bill if you wish to join us. Grab your bible of choice and a cup of coffee, a bowl of cereal, and join us as we continue learning all that the scriptures can tell us.

Thursday Evening Book Study

Thursday evenings @ 7:00 PM, St. Alban’s offer a book study to help us in not only building our relationship with God, Jesus, and the Spirit, but also to follow the command of Jesus to “love our neighbors as ourselves.” Our Thursday Evening Book Study is reading of Richard Roar’s Universal Christ. Books are available at the Church or Words of Windsor. Our Thursday Evening Book Study meets on Zoom only.

Sunday Morning Book Study

Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM, St. Alban’s offers our Sunday Morning Book Study. Presently we are studying Amy-Jill Levine’s The Gospel of Mark - A Beginner’s Guide. Books are available for purchase at the Church or at Words of Windsor Book Store. Our Sunday Morning Book Study meets Sunday mornings in person in the Parish Hall and on Zoom.

Faith Seeking Journey

We all walk a journey of faith in our lives, sometimes by accident and circumstance, other times with purpose towards a deeper knowledge of God.  The St. Alban’s community invites all seekers to join our small group course that takes the time to discover the path of faith.  Spanning nine months, Faith Seeking Journey follows the liturgical year through the Bible and the Book of Common Prayer to introduce the history and mysteries of Christianity and the unique heritage of the practice of Anglican Christianity.  This course will be especially helpful for those who are newer to St. Alban’s, but it also provides to life-long Christians an added understanding of a living, vibrant Christian faith.
